Arent Fox Expands Complex Litigation Practice with Addition of Counsel Eric Roman
Arent Fox LLP is pleased to announce the return of litigator Eric Roman. A Counsel in the New York office, Eric advises clients on technology and intellectual property disputes as well as complex commercial litigation, investigations, and regulatory compliance.
An experienced federal and state court litigator, Eric helps companies with issues that regularly arise in connection with the use, sale, and marketing of technology products, including disputes relating to software licensing, data security, data privacy, and intellectual property. A member of the firm’s Media & Entertainment group, Eric also litigates copyright disputes for clients in the digital media and entertainment industries.

Eric has more than 25 years of experience in private practice. He began his career as an Assistant District Attorney for the New York County District Attorney’s Office before co-founding and serving as in-house Counsel for Oxer Technologies, a boutique IT consulting firm based in New York City.
Eric is a graduate of Harvard Law School and earned his BA from New York University. Before attending law school, Eric served as a Field Artillery Officer in the US Army, where he led and trained field artillery troops as a platoon leader, fire direction officer, and battery executive officer.
