Our Community
Our attorneys and staff volunteer thousands of hours to local pro bono clients each year. We also partner with a number of leading community organizations, including Appleseed Foundation, the National Lawyers Committee for Civil Rights, DC Lawyers for Youth, the DC Bar Foundation, Capital Area Immigrants’ Rights (CAIR), and the Legal Aid Society of the District of Columbia.
In 2015, we partnered with Georgetown Law and DLA Piper in launching DCALF, the DC Affordable Law Firm. An independent nonprofit, this low bono law firm provides affordable, high-quality legal services to District residents who do not qualify for free legal aid. DCALF is located in our DC office.
Award Winning
The firm’s flagship office in Washington, DC relocated to a new LEED Platinum certified building in 2013. Designed by STUDIOS Architecture and built by Clark Construction, the office has received a number of industry awards, including the 2015 AIA National Honor Award for Interior Architecture, 2013 Interior Design Magazine Best of the Year, and the Washington Building Congress Craftsmanship Award.

Our office is located in the heart of downtown Washington, DC, on K Street NW across from Farragut Square. The office overlooks the White House and Washington Monument. We are also steps away from the Metro’s Red Line stop at Farragut North and the Blue/Orange/Silver Line stop at Farragut West.
