Schiff Ranked as “Law Firm of the Year” in Construction-Litigation and Earns 45 “Best Law Firms” Rankings
Schiff Hardin LLP announced today that the firm has received 45 top-tier rankings and national recognition for its premier practices in the 2020 edition of U.S. News – Best Lawyers® “Best Law Firms.”
Additionally, Schiff has again been named “Law Firm of the Year” for its Litigation-Construction practice, a recognition awarded annually to only one law firm per practice area.
The firm earned National Tier 1 rankings in 13 practice areas, up from 10 in 2019, with Corporate Law and Mergers & Acquisitions Law being recognized as National Tier 1 for the first time. The firm also received 32 Metropolitan Tier 1 rankings — up from 30 last year — adding recognition for Closely Held Companies and Family Businesses Law, Corporate Law, and Mutual Funds Law across its Ann Arbor, Chicago, New York, San Francisco, and Washington, D.C., offices.
Firms included in the 2020 “Best Law Firms” edition are recognized for professional excellence based on consistently positive ratings from clients and peers. To be eligible for a ranking, a firm must have a lawyer listed in The Best Lawyers in America, which recognizes the top four percent of practicing attorneys in the U.S.
