Schiff Named “Best Place to Work for LGBTQ” for 10 Years
Schiff Hardin LLP announced today that for the 10th consecutive year, the firm has earned a perfect 100 percent score on the Human Rights Campaign (HRC) Foundation’s Corporate Equality Index (CEI), along with the distinction as a 2020 “Best Place to Work for LGBTQ Equality.”
Schiff Hardin LLP announced today that for the 10th consecutive year, the firm has earned a perfect 100 percent score on the Human Rights Campaign (HRC) Foundation’s Corporate Equality Index (CEI), along with the distinction as a 2020 “Best Place to Work for LGBTQ Equality.” Schiff is one of only 686 major businesses nationwide to earn a top score.
“We are proud to have continually earned a top ranking from HRC,” said Thomas K. Juffernbruch, chair of the firm’s LGBTQ Diversity Subcommittee. “The decade of recognition we have received validates the work we have done to cement diversity as a central part of our firm’s ethos.”
The HRC’s CEI is a national benchmarking survey and report evaluating various LGBTQ-related corporate policies and practices such as non-discrimination workplace protections, domestic partner and transgender-inclusive health care benefits, competency programs, and public engagement with the LGBTQ community.
