Schiff Hardin Signs ABA Pledge to Improve Lawyer Mental Health and Well-Being
Schiff Hardin LLP is proud to announce its support of an innovative pledge campaign by the American Bar Association (ABA) aimed at targeting substance use disorders and mental health issues among lawyers.
The seven-point pledge identifies key areas where firms commit to focus their attention, such as education, policies, and culture, as well as tangible steps they can take to advance them. The ABA campaign’s goals include raising awareness, reducing the incidence of problematic substance use and mental health distress, and improving lawyer well-being.
Schiff Hardin is among the inaugural class of law firms across the country to sign the pledge, which runs through January 1, 2019.
