Schiff Hardin LLP represented Altaris Capital Partners LLC, a private investment firm focused on the healthcare industry, in its $650 million acquisition of substantially all of Kindeva Drug Delivery from 3M Company. Kindeva is a development and manufacturing organization specialized in solving delivery challenges for pharmaceutical and biotechnology customers. As part of the transaction, 3M Company will retain a minority interest in the new business alongside Altaris. The deal closed on May 1, 2020.
