Schiff Earns “Best Place to Work for LGBTQ” Accolade for Nearly a Decade
Schiff Hardin LLP announced today that the firm has earned a perfect 100 percent score on the Human Rights Campaign (HRC) Foundation’s 2019 Corporate Equality Index (CEI), along with the distinction as a “Best Place to Work for LGBTQ Equality” for nine years running.
Schiff is one of only 571 major businesses nationwide to earn a top score.
“We are proud to have earned a top ranking from HRC each year for nearly a decade in recognition of our commitment to diversity,” said Clay A. Tillack, chair of the firm’s LGBT Diversity Subcommittee. “This affirms the work we have done to ensure diversity is a central part of the fabric of our firm.”
The HRC’s CEI is a national benchmarking survey and report evaluating various LGBTQ-related corporate policies and practices such as non-discrimination workplace protections, domestic partner and transgender-inclusive health care benefits, competency programs, and public engagement with the LGBTQ community.
