Partner Janine Carlan Named One of the Inaugural Top 50 Women in PTAB Trials
WASHINGTON, DC – Arent Fox LLP is pleased to announce that Patent Litigation Partner Janine Carlan was named one of the top 50 Women at the Patent Trial and Appeal Board.
This is the PTAB Bar Association’s inaugural list of the Top 50 Women in PTAB Trials, which recognizes female practitioners currently in private practice or at companies who have appeared in the highest number of PTAB trial proceedings since 2012. These leading female practitioners will also be featured in the PTAB Bar Association’s upcoming report on Women at the PTAB, which studies gender diversity at law firms and companies participating in U.S. Patent & Trademark Office’s Patent Trial & Appeal Board proceedings. The PTAB Bar Association compiled the list based on data provided by DocketAlarm.
Recognized as one of the Most Powerful and Influential Women in the region by the National Diversity Council, Ms. Carlan represents clients in bench and jury trials throughout the United States, in Federal Circuit appeals, and in PTAB proceedings.
Arent Fox’s support for its women lawyers is driven, in part, by AFWomen, an initiative that promotes professional development, fosters business connections, and provides exposure and opportunities to attorneys. This commitment is reflected in the initiative’s three pillars, “Lead. Develop. Connect.”
