Craig Gelfound Named Top IP Attorney by the Daily Journal for the Sixth Consecutive Year
LOS ANGELES, CA — Craig Gelfound, head of Arent Fox LLP’s Intellectual Property practice in Los Angeles, has once again been honored by the Daily Journal as one of the Top Intellectual Property Lawyers in California, with 2016 marking his sixth consecutive year of this recognition.
Mr. Gelfound has been recognized not only for his track record in successfully prosecuting and managing the domestic and global portfolios of major corporations, but also for developing an exceptional team and infrastructure to handle the ongoing growth in the Los Angeles office’s patent and trademark practice. Under Mr. Gelfound’s leadership, the Intellectual Property practice in Los Angeles has grown to over 35 lawyers and legal professionals.

Mr. Gelfound graduated with a JD, magna cum laude, from Southwestern University and received a BS in electrical engineering from San Diego State University. He brought considerable experience in telecommunications and technology to his practice, having designed signal processors for military radar applications when he worked for a major telecommunications company. Mr. Gelfound also served as project manager for one of the largest air traffic control radar contracts with the United States Air Force early in his career.
