Arent Fox Announces 2019 Diversity Scholarship Recipients
WASHINGTON – Arent Fox LLP is pleased to announce the recipients of the 2019 Arent Fox Diversity Scholarship. Each second year law student will receive a $20,000 award and participate in the firm’s 2019 Summer Program.
The scholarship will be paid in two installments: $10,000 during the student’s second year summer and another $10,000 paid when the student returns to Arent Fox as an associate after graduation.
The following students demonstrated a commitment to learning and practicing law at the highest level:
- Patrice Howard (Georgetown University) – DC Office
- Genine Cumba (Loyola Law School) – LA Office
- Ashley Baxter (University at Buffalo School of Law) – NY Office
- Jodi Tai (University of Southern California) – SF Office
“I want to congratulate Patrice, Genine, Ashley, and Jodi for their strong applications and many accomplishments so far,” said Chief Diversity Officer Chris Norton. “We will all benefit from the diverse experiences they’ll bring to the firm, and we look forward to working with them next summer and hopefully for many years to come.”
Since 2006, the firm has annually awarded a scholarship to law students in the Washington, DC and New York offices. In 2008, the scholarship program was extended to students in the Los Angeles office and last year the firm began awarding a scholarship for the first time to a student working in the San Francisco office.
