FTC Files Complaint Against Passport Automotive Group
The Federal Trade Commission is settling its claims against Passport Automotive Group. The FTC alleged the dealer charged thousands of dollars in junk fees. Additionally, the FTC claimed the dealer discriminated against Black and Latino consumers with unwarranted financing costs and fees. Passport will pay $3.3 million to settle the FTC’s claims rather than fully litigate the case.
