Join Antonio Rivera as he speaks on EV Import Tariffs at the Battery Show North America 2024.

By most accounts, Washington’s bi-partisan support for the Electric Mobility sector continues to spur new technologies and product innovation. Those incentives come with caveats, notably driven by US geopolitical tensions and applied in the form of steep US tariffs on the procurement of foreign inputs, components and assemblies through the global supply chain (e.g., the 100% tariff on electric vehicles (EV) from China). It’s a Tangle of US Trade Rules.  Antonio Rivera leads the Electric Mobility Group at ArentFox Schiff LLP and brings to his audiences a timely “connect the dots” perspective on the current status of US trade policy as impacted by the Section 301 tariffs on the EV and battery industry,  and a “look ahead” to 2025, including how and when Washington will be launching industry consultations ahead of the critical 2026 USMCA review talks. Antonio’s presentation aims to provide real-world insight to increase revenue opportunities while decreasing the risk of tariff enforcement action. It’s a not-to-miss opportunity for business executives grappling with production decisions and supply chain challenges.
