Fred Weber will present at the PGGNE December meeting in Waltham, MA, on December 12, 2024.
In his presentation “Choosing the Right Fiduciary for Post Death Administration,” Fred will focus on strategies for advising donors about the pros and cons of all available fiduciary options for post-death administration. He will also include tools for gift planners to explain the post-death administration process, and help donors make thoughtful and informed decisions that can ease the burden of post-death administration for everyone.
The presentation will address three key objectives:
-
Understand how a donor’s choice of a fiduciary can significantly impact the interests of charities and other stakeholders in the estate or trust after the donor has died.
-
Provide charitable gift planners with a toolkit for engaging in meaningful conversations about fiduciary choices designed to enhance relationships with donors and elevate the gift planner’s status as a trusted advisor.
-
Demystify the post-death administration process to help donors set realistic expectations for all the individuals and institutions with financial interests in their estates and trusts.
