California’s health hazard office is extending the data call-in period for its proposal that could lead to listing vinyl acetate as a carcinogen under the state’s Proposition 65 warning label law, in response to a request from the Washington, DC-based trade group Vinyl Acetate Council — which has already argued the chemical does not pose serious cancer risks
