Schiff Hardin Partners with Veterans Consortium Pro Bono Program
Schiff Hardin LLP is proud to announce its recent partnership with the Veterans Consortium Pro Bono Program, which provides pro bono assistance to unrepresented veterans or their loved ones appealing the denial of VA benefits.
Led by Schiff attorneys and veterans Mir Ali, Tracy Adamovich, and Sam Bonnette, the team has already begun work on pro bono cases and plans to recruit additional attorneys as the partnership grows.
Since its inception, the Veterans Consortium Pro Bono Program has recruited and trained over 4,000 volunteers and has won over 3,600 cases in court for veterans, their families, caregivers, and survivors. The consortium provides assistance to unrepresented veterans or their family members who have filed appeals in the U.S. Court of Appeals for Veterans Claims. The consortium also recruits and trains volunteer attorneys in the field of veterans law.
This effort is spearheaded by the firm’s Veterans Subcommittee and Inclusion Network, which was created to prioritize hiring and retaining veterans, whose unique experiences add value to our client teams and enrich the legal profession.
