Sean focuses his practice on advising clients on patent preparation and prosecution.
Sean works with clients in a variety of technical areas, including computer software, hardware, and relevant systems, including: machine learning/AI systems, telecommunication systems, and blockchain systems; optical systems; electrical systems; radar systems; medical devices and therapies; packaging sciences; and power generation systems.
Prior to joining ArentFox Schiff, Sean was an associate attorney at a mid-sized law in Boston, MA.
Client Work
Sean is experienced in advising, drafting, and prosecuting patent applications across several technical disciplines. Sean often prepares detailed memorandums directed toward patent-related considerations in order to provide clients with comprehensive analyses of respective issues.
Previous Work
Prior to joining ArentFox Schiff, Sean practiced patent prosecution at a mid-sized Boston-based law firm. Before that, he was a law clerk at a large firm, where he completed similar work, particularly in machine learning, medical devices, and power generation systems. Sean received his J.D. from the University of New Hampshire Franklin Pierce School of Law, where he participated in the Intellectual Property and Transactions clinic and was a member of the Patent Law Forum and Phi Alpha Delta.
