Patrick’s practice focuses on the representation of real estate developers, operating companies, national and regional banks and finance companies in all aspects of financing including, syndicated construction financing, securitized CMBS financing, mezzanine financing, real estate acquisition financing, loan workouts, restructurings, and foreclosures. Patrick also represents real estate developers with respect to real estate acquisition, disposition and development. In addition, Patrick has significant experience in the representation of lenders in the acquisition and sale of pools of loans.

- Represented the administrative agent in a syndicated construction loan for a shopping center in Manassas, Virginia.
- Represented the administrative agent in a syndicated construction loan for an office building in Washington, DC.
- Represented the administrative agent in a syndicated construction loan for a multifamily housing project in Loudon County, Virginia.
- Represented a foreign bank in an acquisition loan for a hotel in Orlando, Florida.
- Represented a nonprofit corporation in the acquisition of its headquarters building.
- Represented a developer in the acquisition and financing of a multifamily housing project in Montgomery County, Maryland.
- Represented a developer in the construction financing for a mixed-use project in Montgomery County, Maryland.
Previous Work
Prior to joining ArentFox Schiff, Patrick worked in the Washington, DC office of a large, international law firm. Prior to moving to Washington, DC, Patrick started his work as an attorney in Pittsburgh, PA.
