Client Work
Eleanor assists clients in the acquisition, development, financing, and sale of commercial properties, including hotels, office buildings, shopping centers, and multifamily residential properties. She is experienced in representing borrowers in mortgage and mezzanine financing transactions, as well as construction loans. Eleanor has represented landlords and tenants in office lease matters, including many nonprofits. She has also represented clients on easements, licenses, crane swing, management and development agreements.
Recent Transactions
During the past 12 months, Eleanor represented Goldman Sachs in connection with the sales of ten multifamily residential and commercial office properties valued at over $900 million.
Most recently, Eleanor represented two nonprofit corporations in the sale of commercial office buildings located in Virginia and the District of Columbia. In addition, she represented World Wildlife Fund, Inc. in commercial office leases with GSA and private tenants.
Previous Work
Before joining ArentFox Schiff, Eleanor was Vice President of Asset Management for the National Corporation for Housing Partnerships, where she negotiated debt restructuring for troubled assets and structured and closed sale transactions for multifamily housing properties.
