Cody advises clients, public companies, private companies and financial service providers on a variety of corporate and securities matters related to mergers and acquisitions (M&A), alternative investments, securities offerings, public company reporting, and corporate governance.
He frequently represents clients before the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, Nasdaq, and other securities exchanges with respect to capital market transactions, regulatory matters, and listing qualifications.
His prior experience as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), auditor, and M&A consultant have facilitated his interactions with various stakeholders and advisors on complex transactions.
During law school, Cody worked in the Investor Protection Center of the Bluhm Legal Clinic at Northwestern University and participated in several programs which are relevant to his practice today, including:
